About Regina

Being raised in Tennessee and under the influence of her Dad who played guitar and led singing at the church where she grew up, Regina became involved in Christian music at a young age. She was raised in the small town of Union City. There are so many good Gospel groups in Tennessee so she was exposed to lots of great Gospel music at an early age.
Regina began writing songs at age 6. She started singing with her Dad’s group the “Ambassadors for Christ” at age thirteen and was saved shortly there- after. Soon, she was playing her own guitar and singing her own songs.
Although Regina has traveled with many groups since then, her love of songwriting has grown stronger and stronger. She had her first chart song “Eye of the Storm”, made famous by the “Inspirations” of Bryson City, NC in 1990. Since then the Inspirations have recorded four more of her songs, each one doing well. With songs recorded by 11th Hour, Kingsmen, Master's Voice, Greater Vision, Carolina Boys, Endless Highway formerly known as the Joylanders, and various other artist there’s a lot of excitement in the Walden camp. When asked what she likes best about her career in Christian music, she answered with, “There is nothing like sitting in an audience, listening to an artist singing your song and seeing people being blessed”.
Living in Hornbeak, TN with her husband Leon, Regina couldn’t be happier. God has blessed her with a wonderful musical family and a loving Christian home.
Releasing her new solo EP, recorded at Walden Songs Studios with her step-son Gene Walden, has been a new journey that she excitedly embraced. These five original songs have already been signed to publishers and hopefully will soon be recorded by Christian artists.
